Completed Programme · बाढी पूर्वतयारी
The Kosi and its tributaries flood large parts of Saptari almost every monsoon. In 2020 many families lost their toilets and drinking water for weeks.
Women-led disaster committees in 22 wards mapped safe routes, linked with upstream river gauges for SMS warnings, and raised hand-pumps and toilets above flood level. Emergency kits included menstrual supplies and torches.
