Nine hundred bicycles for girls in Dhanusha
Girls who live more than three kilometres from their secondary school now ride to class together.
Under Chhori Padhau Abhiyan, 900 bicycles were handed over to girls in 18 partner schools. Each girl rides with a group from her tole, agreed with parents and the school.
Head teachers report that attendance among the recipients has already risen sharply.
